Joymod runs independently and does not require another controller application to work. Only the required drivers need to be installed.
Compatibility: Joymod supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. An Xbox-based or XInput-compatible controller is required.

Supported Controllers
Joymod requires an Xbox-based or XInput-compatible controller.
Supported controllers may include:

- GameSir controllers using Xbox or XInput mode
- Virtual Xbox controllers
- Emulated Xbox controllers
PlayStation Controllers
Native PlayStation controllers are not supported.
A controller may work if it can properly output Xbox or XInput controller input, but compatibility with converted, translated, or remapped PlayStation controllers is not guaranteed.
Emulator Compatibility
Joymod may work with emulators that emulate or output an Xbox-based controller.
Compatibility depends on:
